Micromax, known for pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved within a tight budget has now gone a step further with the Canvas 5 A240. The device features a 5 inch full HD SUPER AMOLED display with a crisp 300+ ppi pixel density to bring images and videos to life.
But the real secret is not above, but rather within, as the device packs in an octa core processor by mediatek which is way ahead of almost every other competition phone. To go along with this Micromax has put in a sufficient 2GB of RAM to ensure that the word lag is not in its dictionary. It also has the powerVR series 5XT GPU to ensure high end gaming on the go.
Camera and storage
With a 13MP camera with LED flash and pictures with resolutions of 4128 x 3096, the phone is right up with the big boys. The secondary camera with a 5MP sensor is no slouch either, in fact it may even be better than many smart phoneÂ’s primary cameras. It features a Dual video shooting capability in which both the cameras can be simultaneously used.
